MALIBU BBC w/factory A/C

Has anyone on the forum successfully installed a BBC in a Malibu with factory A/C? If so, what issues did you encounter? What motor mounts and headers did you use?
The car I’m considering swapping in a big block is an 80 Malibu.

No problem. Also I used the valve covers that had the angled side and they fit no problem. Others may have fit but I'm not sure

Stock height valve covers were used in that old Hot Rod article. If I remember right those angled ones are F-body A/C & power brake covers.

That could be. They were also on alot of heavy trucks, crate motors and used alotnin the marine industry. I believe mine were originally from a heavy truck because they had the tonowanda emblem on them

"Tonawanda team" decals were on the BBCs in 68-70 Chevelles as well
