If I get caught driving the car it will just become a drag car anyway - sponsored by the local sheriff's. If you accept the $500 offer it becomes a drag car to you instead, and I go get the 1 I already have w/ title out of storage and put it back on the road legally w plates this summer. That's what I want to do w/ the $$$. Having this car I can't drive is totally killing me. I have already almost been caught driving w/o plate 2-3x in the car to be honest. What little discipline I have is not much. There is also a high car theft rate here and it's only a matter of time before someone tries it. As a matter of fact somebody already did try to start the car 1 night and I found evidence of it but the battery must not have been charged enough thankfully. Thats why I purposefully only worked on the car w/ a trashed battery anyway so I could leave it in there w/o worrying about some idiot stealing the car. These people out here are really stupid, and thats coming from a shameless dumbass. They have stolen cars in worse shape out here last year. My car is literally 2-3 hours work to being a practical daily driver and you can probably get Michigan to title it & get 'historic' plates since it was mfr in your state at now defunct Fisher body. Your odds are better than mine. It opens up a can of worms if I apply for the 'lost title' because prev owner went to die in Chicago area and paperwork related to his death is therefore not very accessible to me. His remaining family doesn't really care about the car and may/ or may not be willing to help me out in terms of his death certificate to prove xfer ownership and blabhlablahblakhslashdlahdfb fk all that stuff man just come buy the car already im not driving all the way out there to meet rude chicagoans and harass them for a death certificate and sit in the mf dmv for 2 hours like a boring episode of peanuts just talking about all the boring stuff i would have to do to get plates when 50/50 odds are they will just give you plates in MI ... wish I lived up there. Would apply for permit to grow the 72 plants also. lol

I'm staining a deck near Niles this very week. I could just take the car to the deck staining job and find my own way back to my house if you want to meet up there. Obviously if I drive the car alllll the way to Niles from here that would prove it is reasonably workable (IMO) .

I only said 200 because there is no title and the fact that there is a tow hitch on the car that apparently was being used to tow with. plus you said the rear frame was rusted out. I need it to be driveable on the street while I build it and collect parts.
Would consider 500 if you can produce the title.

I was just a little upset someone went in the car when I wasnt around obviously. I know I was going hard for the sale on this car but maybe its just not going to work out. If you want it come by with the money or else im going to just take it apart. It's really unfortunate people are so stupid these days. I apologize i was a little ridiculous in the earlier post. I will try to stay more family minded next time or i know what could be the result.

Yes. In an ironic twist of fate God tested the strength of my word and it failed; 'one more irritating thing' DID happen which was that my wood steering wheel I had just bought was stolen along w/ the sears ratchet set that came w/ the car - and the at least 7 but probably more like 10 or 11 knives I had in my toolbox are all gone too - but of course I didn't 'set it on fire' although if I catch Mike Brown sitting at the neighborhood gas station with my wood steering wheel in his car I'll light him up like a christmas tree over that $25 steering wheel because I'm stupid and proud of it.
