Getting to that point one of the last things left to do is get my 9in axles. Been looking at different companies, strange moser currie and Yukon and so far have hear bad things about strange. Building a strip car with s 400 small block .5-- cam forget specs
Running about 425 HP with a th350 trans go manual valve body shift kit and 2500-3000 stall haven't got yet, with 4.11s and posi. I've heard good things about moser and Yukon so far but thought I'd throw it out there. Anyone have any pros cons of each and or horror stories?

i dont know about best (and cant give you a scientific explanation), but my friend runs some serious hp cars and he uses moser, so im going with them

I have moser 31 spline axles in my 9 inch...and my 9 inch sits behind a 600HP bbc, th400...and i've been pounding the hell out of it for a year and a half now...haven't had a single problem

We run a Moser 9" in my fathers '79...not saying they're the best but i like they're products.

Stick with mosier. Strange axles suck. My dad ran strange behind a 500 sbc and twisted them. They wouldn't wa4randy them. So go with mosier.

Check into Quick Performance Racing. Great to deal with and cheaper than the others.

I bought one of their direct fit 9" housing packages which also came with 31 spline Moser axles and bearings for around $700. I paid an extra $50 or so to have them weld on LS1 billet axle flanges so that I could bolt my disc brakes on without any adapters.

For another $1100 they setup a Strange aluminum center section, 4.30 gears and Detroit true-trac for me as well.
