Grand National style bumper?? Didn't know we had special bumpers too. Cool beans. :roll:

What you need is bumper fillers. Look it up. I'll warn 'ya though, they aren't cheap.
 
sorry i didnt explain well enough. i have bumper fillers but the are for the 79 bumper. i replaced it with one off an 87 regal its flat when it bolts up as opposed to the 79 which sort of wraps around the front.
 
Ummm.... Well, I will refrain from my normal sarcasm about the soundness of this mod and just say that you will need to mold your own parts out of fiberglass, or follow the example of East German auto maker Trabant and mix up some Duroplast from old tee shirts and resin.
 
Or pay a shop to media blast and powder coat the original bumber black. You would have the same look for around $200...
