I want my wagon to sit lower than it is right now. My question is, what is the best way to lower one, and get a decent ride out of it? I thought air ride would be the way to go, but from what I am hearing here, I was wrong lol.

I'm assuming it rides decent?
I'm lookin for a stiffer ride, but I dont want to feel every bump in the road.

beltech lowering spindles and eibach lowering springs for the rear. Brought my car down 2.5'' in the rear and 2'' in the front.

I had that setup on my old "Iraq Taxi"(81 fdr Malibu) it had a good ride and a nice stance.

can you just buy a set of rear springs from eibach, or do you have to buy the set?

I heard they are kind of soft.

Eibach's are DEFINTIELY not soft springs!!! They are one stop away from race springs. I have them, and don't like them anymore. (I am almost afraid they will break something on bumpy roads.) If you lower it, the lowering spindles are probably best up front with lowering springs out back. I would also increase the front spring rate so that the car does not bottom, and handles better. Someone has posted some Moog part numbers on here for springs. Maybe they will link it in here, or tell you what they did.

i just bought the eibach pro kit and im very happy with the results, car sites even now and is about 1.5" - 2" lower

I like the height of the Eibachs, but just not the ride quality. It's not terrible, but not great either. My car is set up to handle, and has the fast ratio box, 16x8 in wheels, and trimmed fenders for front tire clearance (30+ hours of work to get them to look right!). I am doing the Global West negative roll thing one day ( I already have the upper arms, just need the spindles and brakes), and I plan on swapping to their springs when I do that. The better roll geometry makes it stick better with a more compliant ride. I just need to source a dropped center drag link to fix the bump steer issue caused by the B car spindles.

I will also add that the Eibach's on the rear of a wagon probably won't sit right. This is because they were designed for the 2 door cars and are not set up for the added weight that a wagon has over the rear. They could make it a tail dragger.
