Better V-6 fuel economy

Heh when I had the 509 Caddy powered Cutty with low gears & a 200-4R I had to train myself to use less throttle leaving a stop as it would quickly & easily without meaning to out accelerate traffic. The combination of low end torque, gearing and responsiveness of the Q-jet was over the top. I would always end up letting off the pedal completely and often tap the brake and then back on the gas. Yea in town mileage sucked because I often jumped back and forth between a mini van and the Cutty but highway mileage was better than I expected.
How much adjusting am I gonna need going from a 2.29 to a 3.73 I wonder?

i drive very little city so its ok for know, it gonna have to go when i get this 5.3 ls swap movin though
