This book is hard to find but it is a must when figuring out brake systems. There are rules and reasons for everything.

Congratulations Cyrus! Nothing like better brakes when you are going fast. Good work man.

tnx buddy , i got another question now ... what about proportioning valves now? do i need to replace it ? as u know i got all brake parts from b bodies except rear wheels brake parts , is there any difference between g and b bodies proportioning valves ?!

The combination valve is specific to a model car. But if you look for a new one you will see that one part number often fits many cars, usually around the same size and weight. What they do is proportion the amount of brake fluid pressure that goes to the front and rear brakes. The fronts get the most because of the weight transfer under braking conditions. They also limit the amount of pressure the rear brakes get. The way to see if yours is correct is to find a large wet area like an empty parking lot. Do some high speed braking on the wet surface and if your rear end spins out the bias is wrong. They sell adjustable valves and you can dial in the bias you want, but it takes a lot of trial and error. Best to stick with the original if you can.

after bleeding rear brake lines i can say it 's great now even with weak front springs i hadn't this brake quality before with old GM cars

I thinks it awesome that you are willing to keep working on your G body with all the struggles you must have to get parts for it. You had a little of the area you live in the background of your picture of the master, I'd like to see more if it's possible for you to start a thread about it.

I'm glad it worked for you Cyrus. But you know what? That's what hot rodding is- taking stuff from other cars and making yours better. Most concentrate on speed, but a wise old rodder once said, "WHOA, is more important than GO!".

Steve if u r talking about MS background in that photo well that is my GP and i 'll start a thread soon and i bought a 200r4 for free almost here so u know wht 's my next project here 😀

I was meaning the area that you live in. We don't hear much or see much about the regular people like yourself living in Iran. I'd like to see what your neighborhood looks like and the type of cars that people drive.
