My son's 1978 wagon, 305 small block and A/C needs a new resistor. I went to the dealer and they said there was only one listed so I purchased it for $32. Turnsout the one purchased has 3-prongs and the original has 4-prongs.

Has anyone run into this before and if so, what was the resolution to this problem?

Thanks,
