I heard you ordered rolls of wallpaper with pictures of your car on them
Yes, and I also had a special Hawaiian shirt made with my car printed on it...😀

Huh? What? I won? Holy Cow! It's official? Amazing. A big thank's to all who voted for me. You do realize this car has almost nothing original and was painted with a paint brush, right? OK, well, everyone is invited to my house for all the beer you can drink. I won't be home because the wagon is needed again to bail out my daughter's Jeep which is puking coolant in the parking lot. $#@^%&*^%ing Jeeps.....

if Jack didn't spend all his money on Hawaiian shirts and wall paper we'd all be there helping you with the Jeep. Then we could all enjoy your beer...🙂

You're right, Steve, if I didn't spend my money like a drunken sailor, we'd be at Mark's house helping him suck down his stash of Yuenglings':friday:

Bonnewagon saved the money on his paint job and bought a boat. And he still won GBOTHM. I think he's onto something....

If you saw the way I treat this car you would never even consider an expensive paint job. This a working wagon! Every time I do something that a pickup truck should be doing I smile and say "This is why I can't get rid of this car". But it was looking pretty shabby so I did all the bodywork and primed/painted with a brush using left over boat paint. Up close you can see what a crummy body man I am but it's not bad 10 feet away. I can park it at a fishing spot at 3AM and not worry.

Paint is over rated, the main purpose of paint is to protect the metal from the elements, after that it's just icing on the cake and it has nothing to do with the car itself

My worry about driving the car is proportional to how nice the paint is. That's why I am reluctant to paint anything....
