Who has taken apart the brake booster. I need to take mine apart to use the pushrod that I will modify to use with my manual set up. I know there is a strong spring in the booster so is there a need to tie the thing up so I don't take any low flying aircraft out of the sky?

Thanks....page 1 of 140.....
Good luck separating the 2 haves [ twist locked together] you may be better off finding another push rod after market?

Your a little late, he did it already.

It is fairly simple to do.

Steve it is amazing what is available these days. Back in the day you had to scrounge around junkyards and pirate what you could. I have been holding on to my manual push rod for 30 years and now they are all over Ebay. And yet a simple factory air cleaner is going for hundreds of dollars- go figure.
