I have 2 different BBK setups from Kore3. A "Hybrid" BB kit with bracketry that allows you to run a 14" rotor, vette C5 PAB (pad abutement bracket) and a c5 caliper, and a "standard" style bracketry setup for use with the (link--->)z51 PAB and (link--->) Kore3 bbk brackets for a 13.39" rotor (take a look at the two brackets at the bottom of the kore3 web page to get an idea). I used the 2002 Blazer spindle with divorced hub, the Kore3 BBk, a 14" rotor, a c5 Vette caliper and stock c5 vette PAB.

"Hybrid" kit. These brackets move the caliper out further so the 14" rotor will clear/fit inside the caliper correctly

Flipped over to see the back side. Notice how far out the bracket is set up? The holes used to mount the caliper are far away from the spindle surface. I'll explain more towards the bottom of the post.

I pulled the c5 calipers off and dropped a 2002 F body caliper on and mocked it up.

It all comes together with the Kore3 BB kit brackets. The above photo shows what you are looking to do but with a 14" rotor(using the "Hybrid BBK brackets and c5 stock PAB) Figure out what size rotor you want --12.xx", 13.39" or a 14" and then pick the PAB and BB kit brackets to match the rotor size you want to run

Theres really not much of a difference in the 14 to the 13.39

This is the standard Kore3 BB kit brackets for the 12.xx" and 13.39" rotor. I believe if you run the 12.xx" rotor, you dont need the z51 pab's. notice how the mounting holes in the bracket for the caliper are not set as far out as the "Hybrid" brackets? I thought I had a pic of the two brackets side by side to show the size diff, but I cant find it. You wouldnt be able to use these brackets with a 14" rotor cuz the caliper isnt out far enough to clear the 14" rotor. Hope im not confusing you bro..

The Z51 PAB. You will also need the "shims" where the hub mounts on the spidle you see in the pic

A comparison of each. Far left setup is the Vette stock PAB, C5 Caliper, Kore3 "Hybrid" BB kit bracket and 2002 2wd Blazer spindle. The Middle setup is the standard Kore3 BB kit bracket, Z51 PAB, 98-2002 F body caliper and a 2002 Blazer 2wd spindle. The right is the Kore3 standard BBK bracket, Stock 98-2002 F body PAB and Caliper. Now I tried to mount a 12" stock caliper on the middle and far right setups and the rotor didnt sit all the way inside the caliper. It was short about .5". I wouldnt trust using the stock 12" rotors with the Kor3 kit. They sell a larger 12.xx rotor. My club bro Big saint went that route and it was clean!! Ill post a pic and link to his page at the bottowm of this post for you. Plenty of great info on his swap he did on project "Tummy Tuck"-78 Malibu

If you stick with the "standard" Kore3 BB kit brackets, you may need to shave/notch the spindle a bit so the one bolt clears the side of the spindle. Heres a pic showing you how close the bolts sits to the spindle once bolted up to the brackets. (this is what I was talking about above when I said I'd talk more on it later down in the post)

Pretty close. Sometime you get lucky and dont need to shave that area down. Some people notch it out. I just shaved the little cast line for a cleaner look..

The above pic shows the quick pass of the grinder. Thats all that was needed so the bolt had some wiggle room.. If you run the 14" rotor and "Hybrid" kit, you wont need to shave/notch this area. The bolts are set out further due to the contruction of the BB kit brackets.. I would mock it all up before doing any painting or powder coat on the spindles just to be sure..

Heres 80ELCAMINOFLAKE's setup using a 12.8" rotor. See how the rotor sits all the way inside the caliper? The 12" stock size didnt sit like this..

Also checkout my other 80z club Brother "Skip". He has a ton of vids up explaining the front and rear swaps in great detail..

Hope this helps out bro. Hit Tobin up at Kore3. I havent talked with him in a few years. Back then, you'd have to speak in terms dealing with C5/C6 equipment. If you mentioned you wanted to run a F body setup on a G body, he would say I dont sell anything for that application. Keep it in terms of C5/c6 applications. Let us know how it all works out for you bro!!

Yep! A lot of the pics I posted were from when we did the front/rear swaps back in 2011/2012 (man time has flown by!!)and if you mentioned you had "LS1" calipers, Tobin would say they didn't sell anything for the "LS1" application. I'm pretty sure he knew what was being done tho. Skip (club member and Forum member) would talk with Tobin for hours about all of this. And you can see in the photo of Saints Bu setup, he did exactly what you want.. Sorry for all the pics bro. Just wanted to give you a few pointers and tips on possible issues you may run into during the install..Here's a link to an old thread from 2012 started by my club bro Skip. The calipers you see in these pics are the ones from his thread..

You will need the shims as well. They are $10 per I believe(that was the price back then) I uploaded a couple cad drawings from Skips thread that illustrate how the brackets are mounted.. Keep us posted bro!!
