Anyone use a T-56 from a 98-2004 Camaro in their G-body? What did you use for a clutch master cylinder? Did it have a reservoir on the end of the hose at the upper end of the cylinder? See picture. I assume there is a fitting at the end of the cylinder that connects to a pressure hose down to the 'donut' clutch slave on the input shaft?

There should be a reservoir at the end of the hose pictured which mounts on one of the studs coming out of the brake booster. There should also be a pressure hose with o-ringed fittings at each end which just push in and are retained with a roll pin. I bought a length of 3AN braided brake hose and fittings from Russell Performance(http://www.russellperformance.com/mc/brake-clutch-hose/sb/640281.jpg) and did away with that hard plastic hose.I think GM used the same master cylinder and reservoir setup on 3rd and 4th gen Camaros and firebirds. I still have mine if you'd like some pics.

Thanks! Did you use a stock G-body clutch pedal? Did you mount the slave rod to the original pushrod hole, or move it to a different location?

I used an F body clutch pedal, cut it and added 3/4" to it's length and moved the pin back 1"

How did you figure out the right length between the pedal bolt and the hydraulic slave pivot point? Did you have the T56 original donor car? I'm helping someone engineer this swap, so the photos would be most welcome.

I bolted the master in place and used the rod to figure out where the pin needed to be. I'll see if I can get a picture of it. I put in a T5 wc, The T56 conversion wasn't well known when I did mine. For that reservoir you'll find them in S10 standards as well
