Can I reuse these cam bearings?

Did you hear it run?

No I haven't, and I understand being skeptical of sellers. I don't think this guy had any reason to lie to me, but you can't trust anyone.

Either way, I ordered a full set of cam bearings from TA Performance. A buddy of mine (a real Buick guru) is going to be helping me install them and if he says I should swap them, I will have a full set so that we can.

Just talked to TA and they said if the rod and main bearings look okay, there is no reason to swap them, just put them back in the same spot. So that is good news.

Thanks for all the replies.

The cheapskate in me really wants to fight you on this, but deep down I agree. It would be a real disappointment to get this thing together only to have it fail shortly after.

In my younger years I would have just put the engine in the car. After many years there is no doubt the engine would come apart. You are already going with a new cam lifters and chain, what's another $161.00 for a re-ring kit and piece of mind that everything is right. While your at it put an oil pump booster kit in it.

Buy a used intake save $$ there not on the internals

350 buick aluminum intakes are near 400$ and as such never come up used. On a stock or lightly mooded engine it's not necessary besides the 50lbs of weight saved.

Those TA bearings will probably outlive the engine.

I am in my younger years still (aka my poorer years). I've already ordered all the oil upgrade stuff from TA. Another $161 is food for a month, thus why I'm trying to keep this as minimally invasive as possible.
