Car trailers

I sold it because my wife said I already had a Ford Superduty and why did I need another crew? It got bobbed and is now crawling all over Moab.

A lot has been brought up here all good stuff. Make sure your vehicle has the capacity to tow the weight you want. Make sure you have the proper hitch - receiver for that load. You should be running a load distribution hitch w/ load bars. Sway bar a must. If you have a chance to upgrade tires do it, I run "E"s. A stiff side wall on your tow vehicle helps. Someone brought up brakes on both axels - most definite, and set up with a break-away system. I see guy's blowing by me on the E-way and some the set-ups are down right scary. In towing bigger is better.

Which brings up another concern....tires.

Currently, there are NO 15" trailer tires manufactured in the USA.

Most 15" trailer tires are rated for 65MPH max...there are some rated at 90, but that's not going to be standard equipment on any open trailer

Running used P series passenger car tires on a trailer on the highway is just begging for trouble. It'll work around town, but easy to overload them.

That's why I wanted 8 lug brake Axel's and 16" tires overkill for safety and it's never been towed by less than a 2500hd my blue one had an 8.1 and my gold one had a Duramax now it will be towed by the square body crew witch is a dually

And remember here in Ontario you'll need an annual yellow sticker on the tow vehicle. We got busted once by the OPP towing our race car

Lol opp must mean something completely different in Canada.

yup, here the OPP is the Ontario Provincial Police and I know all about the insides and got to see the roof 3 times a week for an hour at the OPP in New Orleans....the one that existed before the floods.....😎

Thanks for all the input I found a nice deal on a 18 foot from miska trailers either my dads gmc 2500hd 6.0 will be towing it mostly to the track and back
