I was going holley 600 double pumper..and i was go sell my carb to help out the priceKapPartier said:I would say anywhere between $75 and $150... Depending on the buyer. Alot of people are switching to Edelbrocks and Holleys. But the quadrajet are very good carbs. I still have my 2 barrell from 78. And it works very well. So they do last a good minute.

Why would you want to get rid of your Q-jet? I have had a Holley and an Edelbrock on my car, and I went back with the Rochester. I have a non computer Q-Jet from 1977. I love the way the car runs, and I get decent gas mileage. But when I want to go, those back barrels hum and I take off! 8) My carb is the 750 cfm variety if I remember correctly. And you get to keep your factory metal fuel line so it looks clean under your hood. Just my opinion though...
I thought Edelbrock come already ready to install in the car. It should be tuned and everything already.
then that's exactly what it's worth! seriously, a carb that needs rebuild is worth $50. more if the numbers are right and it's a rare model. if it's properly rebuilt it can be worth a few hundred. if you rebuild and modify it for a performance build, it's worth a lot more. but, i'd do the rebuild and mods and put it back on your car. you'd be surprised at what they can do when built right!its prob worthless rebuilding
