Perfect. Thats what i always kept it on anyways. I drive the car between 45 and 75 degrees. I dont get cold to easy. Prefer windows down no matter the temp.

The plastic vent lines by the passenger side were brittle and broke when i barely touched them. I cant find any small rubber lines around town to connect it.
I believe I used 1/8th inch vacuum hose when I fixed mine. NAPA or Autozone should have some behind the counter.

make sure you get vacuum hose so it won't collapse like hose made to control pressure will.

The black ball is a vacuum reservoir. It holds enough reserve vacuum so that your vent motors function smoothly without clapping from the cylinder pulses. Best to keep it functional for that day you might need to de-fog the windshield.
