in the Desert!
Today while coming home from work my car just died like it got no gas. After cranking it for a while it started up an was able to drive home but drives really rough. I know it has something to do with my carb. seems like its just not getting enough gas. I ordered one but wont be shipped till tommorow. I was wondering what the marked part of the carb pic does. Seems to be broke should that be all the way out?

super glue it!!!! hahahahaa

It controls how quickly the secondaries open. It's vacuum controlled, and should be all the way in with the engine running and idling, all the way out when the engine is off. When you floor it, the lack of vacuum releases it, usually takes 2-3 seconds to go all the way out.

Even with the engine idling its out all the way. I push it back and there is absolutely no pressure. Could this be why my car is actint up?
