Actually I have no idea what kind of carb is on the car. I know it is original but my service manual doesn't say anything about a 4MV, it just has the electronically controlled models. Can I still adjust the carb if it's computer controlled?

there are settings you can still adjust, but if you're running the ccc carb, the computer is already adjusting for the air/fuel mixture, and any adjustments will be minor but touchy... best way to learn about carbs is by picking up an old carb at the junkyard or buying an old core carb, and tearing it down so you can get used to the internals without messing up anything important.
