Change the shifter light bulb?

I have not looked at the car in a good week or so and I just want to know if this is a simple process to change the console shifter light? Thanks

on my 86 cutlass the shifter plate just pops out. the plate itself is just push lock clips and just pop it up. it took me maybe 1 or 2 minutes to change mine.
