Reason I posted it in the first place is it was done dirt cheap. And that shows in a lot of areas. I'm going to spend exponentially more than this guy on mine, but hopefully it won't blow up after a few years.
 
Good point, and that's totally fair. I went into my own project telling myself it was gonna be ultra low-buck... but then it didn't quite turn out that way.

I think that's how alot of us start out.... it's when the "while I'm here" bug bites, that it snowballs out of control.... :rofl:
 
Low buck only lasts so long. Then the choice is get rid of it and start over or keep going. My 70 was a street/strip car going 11.20's at 118 with probably a $5000 engine back in 1996. Today its a backhalved car going 8.80's at 151 and there is probably $5000 in the heads and intake. 🙁
 
I like the part around 1:45 when he nails the gas and nothing happens.
