Hi,

My 1979 Chevy Malibu Landau Coupe needs a paint job. But then I also need to replace or "repair" the two stripings:
1. the striping on the edge of the two-tone (blue, in my case), and
2. the rubber striping [middle of the striping is blue] with plastic coating [this plastic comes of and is broken etc etc]

In The Netherlands, it is hard to find a solution for this. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I ad a pic, showing what I mean with my question. This pic is not my car but shows the right stripings

Thanks

If you're going to paint the car anyway, you have the option to eliminate the pin striping altogether.
If you insist on keeping the striping, you can either go for pin striping tape, or there's tape that can be laid out where you can peel a section of tape off and paint the striping with a pin striping brush.
I haven't seen that type of tape in a long time. You would have to check with a body shop supply store, or online.

Welcome aboard!
