Are you as sick of big wheels with rubber bands wrapped around them as I am? I rank that nonsense right up there with undercar neon and spinners
Count me as the 3rd one SICK of that look. I went with 17s due to larger brakes. I don’t like bigger than that.

I like the op pic. Yes the tire are a little large and would be changed out. Not so much 'cause of size, but i just don't care for the style.
I stopped at 17" rims. Mostly due to weight to benifit ratio. As well as tire choices start to dwindle.

While I don't care for the gy-normous wheels (>20's) on g-bodys (22's are my limit for trucks), I've seen a few g-bodys that have pulled off some 20's out back & looked nice but I imagine there's a bunch of tweaking to make it happen & look decent. As far as 17's max? Nope... 18's are required for the current available stoppers. There is actually a larger tire market (available sizes) for 18's now as well vs. 17's.

Not a fan of any topless g-body I've seen 'built' thus far either.

and it is not just the appreance, the suspension on a G body includes the give of the sidewalls. The other thing is with the conditions of some roads you'll end up breaking a rim without a tire that has a sidewall that can compress to protect the rim.
