I know this is a project and these things might be on your "to do" list but I think to give it a more complete GN look exterior wise you will need to lower the car a couple of inches, black out all of the chrome trim and bumpers and as mentioned in your other post get the 84' and up header panel and grille.
The light gray Cutlass bucket interior that you have ready to install will be more convincing than the red but obviously the 2 tone GN interior would be the way to go.

Now that the water has receded in houston it could stand about a 3" drop, but its a cool car.

Who did the convertible conversion? There were a few companies doing it back in the 1980's.
It looks lifted cuz it has airbags. If it goes to low and i go fast it jumps too much like a lowrider. But those r coming off

I did the convertible top i chop topped it reinforced it and got a bmw top adjusted it welded and modified it. In person ppl always ask if its factory
