Good luck with them SnakeEaters - mine made it through dyno runs and some driving, then kaflooey.

Your bias is showing, Sir. They didn't use SEPs, they used SEP data with Deka 80s.

Short of the SS2 cam (and some of my tweaks) this is almost identical to what is currently in my Monte. Clearly I need more timing. 😉

Don't know if you are kidding about water cooled turbos but they are popular in the turbo diesel world. Have been for a long time.
No, not kidding. I guess I'm pretty ignorant on turbos because this water cooled deal is new on me. I don't think any of the turbo LS builds I've seen in the last few years were water cooled. Dad had a 77 International with a DT466 and I don't remember the diesel being water cooled, but I could easily be wrong. I often am.

*edit - I meant I don't remember the turbo on it being water cooled. Of course the DT466 was water cooled.
