Are you running the spring pressures you referenced a couple of pages?

If you are talking about the valvesprings? Nope, nothing done. I have a buddy with an '01 Z06 and he's promised me its stock cam (.525" lift) - so shimming the springs isn't entirely ideal... that said I could still go another .025" in shims and keep the springs in spec (the '02/'03 Z06 and ZR1 have about .550" lift). This 5.3L is just a means to get the car up and running, and the moment Natasha gets her 3rd Gen Camaro it is destined for that car... which would love the baby LS6 this has almost become.

What do you plan on putting speed holes into?

Everything.

I figure copious amount of aluminum parts are in my future (and some composite stuff too). I'd also like to box and swiss cheese the frame and create a zero sum for weight.

I really want to spend the time making this car as light as possible.

theres a few plastic suppliers locally too, sometimes they are happy to give you small scraps if you ask nice.

You really need to invest in a mcmaster carr account, it will change your life lol.
