X2 on the D-dish piston. That's what I'm putting in my 383, You get the benefits of lower compression with the dish but the flat portion of the piston creates a better quench area which helps turbulance in the chamber. I'm using a KB hypereutectic with a 12cc dish and 66cc AFR 190 heads on a 4.040" bore and zero deck height. Compression ends up at about 10.04 - 1. With alum heads you need to increase compressio 1 point plus the fuel control and timing control of the EFI helps so you can add a bit of comp there, too. Some guys with a setup simular to mine are running 11-1 but I wanted to keep mine lower for the possiblity of bad gas. It is a daily driver.
