you do not staple the window sweeps to the reveal
You are dead wrong, the rubber seals are stapled to the wide metal reveal molding.

the window sweeps for the reveal are different than the ones to be installed without the reveal.
I'm well aware of that, I'm not talking about taking bead molded rubber seals and stapling them to the wide molding.
The aftermarket already makes bare rubber replacement's for wide upper door moldings, but they suck and don't have a metal beadless base, just rip the ones off your trim and re-staple or save the old staples since they are thick and can be bent easily.

I replaced my window sweeps on my GP that had the reveal molding and I never used a stapler to install them..they were OEM replacements from a GM dealer and cost a few $$$ but they fit properly

nope, I wasn't

Well. This is not what I expect to see from a forum member with such high post value. I would expect more of an expert response. I would also think that being a forum member with such high post value that one would understand what I am trying to do. But since, you are not getting the hidden value to what I am trying to do I will explain it out for you so you can cleary understand.

I am reproducing products and using a free forum for advice which is widely given on a daily basis. I know that you think that I am making a living from this, and you are correct. But at the same time I have the blessing of having many resources to procure products for us which are hard to find. Your posts seem arrogant and negative against a source which is trying to help the cause. I am sure there are others on this post which would love the opportunity to share their opinions and knowledge for the better of our likings.

So, please do not respond to any of my threads anymore. I do not need your feedback, nor value it.

p.s. Do not respond to this either. Consider it done.

Thank You!

I like to help out guys like me who are stuck with something or need some advise....not someone who's working for or running a company who is looking for info on parts in order to have the parts fabricated to retail those parts....

The guy is trying to supply some much needed parts for the hobby and by getting some of our advice ahead of time. I don't see any problem with that. I thought we were trying to support the enterprising spirit here and supporting the small buisnesses.

By the way (TOBYP), may I presume you will be producing offshore. Most places are as it costs way to much to produce here.
I knew Ames Performance Engineering when he got started and was amazed at the quality of stuff he was producing in the 1980's offshore.

Well, quantity of posts does not necessarily equal quality.

geese what was I thinking...not interested in someone trying to get info to get parts fabricated offshore. I'm one of those crazy people who try to buy products that are made in the USA or Canada.

 Man, god forbid. Everybody b*tches that nobody is repop-ing parts for G-Bodies, and the second somebody comes along saying they're going to do just that.... Suddenly one guy has to try and piss them off? If you don't want to help the guy, just say "good luck" and move on.
