so i bought a new cruise control, wiper dela/washer lever for my 84 MCSS and i got it out of the package and its in five pieces!?!? i've got the stalk, a very tiny metal piece (cylinder shaped), a spring, another metal piece thats bigger, and finally the plastic button for the end. i have no clue what order they go into the stalk but i tried to get it in and i couldn't get it together. i could really use some help.

Sounds like it's broken or fell apart. Could you post a picture of it and the loose parts? Basically it comes together as one piece or unit.
