That looks great man, which mufflers did you choose when you bought your pypes kit? I seen that have a few options including the “violator” muffler or something that are crazy loudYes, it is easy to cut/modify a "Monte SS" exhaust system so the tailpipes replicate the GN style exits. I did the same thing with the 3" Pypes system I installed in my Grand Prix.

I went for minimum restriction and chose the RacePros. They do flow very well, and I'm very happy with them... though sometimes I wish they were a bit louder. But maybe I'm just weird like that.
Maybe the guys from Pypes who does the vender posting would look over what has been posted on this forum & updates their catalog listings so the Cutlass isn't treated like an unwanted step child when it comes to exhaust. There is no excuse for any vender not to fully research proper interchanges.
You should be able to run the down pipe set that matches your manifolds. I'm using the DGU14S set with my Pypes set (using mid '70's manifolds.) All crossmember back sets can work with all down pipes, keep in mind everything may need trimmed to fit.My car has the Pypes X-Pipe and mufflers installed already and figured I could order up their down pipes but the application says they only fit SBC Pypes DGU10S (they have a 3 bolt flange also).
