Dash lights

Good evening fellow G body members,
Been a while since I have posted. Need serious insight... Purchased a F.A.S.T. fuel injection kit. Trying to wire it to the sensors so my dash lights go out when I start the car. I ditched the old PCM...
Was this a mistake, I'm only trying to get the oil, temp lights out. I've wired from the factory wires for said lights to the new sensors, will this work?

you need to wire said lights to the stock senders, not the new F.A.S.T. sensors, or do away with the lights and get gauges to work with the new sensors

why not trade out the warning lights for gauges?
