Dash repair

Ye sir. Ill see how it goes. worse comes worse ill fiberglass it or buy a new dash or dash cap. More of a fun weekend project.

It'll be an interesting experiment. As you said, worse comes to worse, you can either fiberglass it, and/or get a dashcap.

I once seen a guy that repairs dash pads use a vinyl dust of the same color or he could add color to it, then he added clear glue and he had little cocking gun the size of a large pen, covered the crack and had little metal irons sort of things to press against the filler that had a texture like the dash pad. It was 30 years ago but l'll never forget it , l was like wow !

Some dashes have gaping cracks in them....not easy to repair. I know Eastwood sells a plastic welding kit, but I don't know how effective they are trying to repair wide cracks.

some of my cracks are kinda big, not sure if ill just use fiber glass mate or just try the baking soda and super glue as well. guess ill try and find out this weekend.
