I would think one of the bars probably hit him with that hard of a impact. Hope he is ok and it’s not another 2001.

that was a crazy crash. i am as well hoping he is okay. the cars are pretty safe compared to years ago.
According to some of the reports I’m seeing they brought out black screens to keep everyone from seeing and have asked media to leave the pits
They are much safer but there was some serious forces happening in that wreak.
no helicopter was mentioned being needed. hope that is a good sign.

Might have been the worst crash I've seen. Never a good sign when they evacuate the media from pit road and cover the scene with black tarps while they work on him.
