Is it possible for an 85-87 442 to have an open dif or limited slip? I either got a great deal or got screwed. My *ss is starting to hurt already.

If you saw that on your RPO label, your trunk lid has been replaced.
RPO labels didn't start until '84.
Your car being an '81 will not have one under the trunk lid from the factory.
Now if you saw it on your build sheet, then that's a different story.
