Actually he is a welder that does iron gates and railings. Show him something and he learns it but he was never exposed to auto repair like most of the current population. He is learning from me as we go. When I ever get around to getting a new backyard stoop and patio he will be making me the railings. But right now the car is in his brother's driveway and the brother would do anything to get it out of there! Hey Steve did you ever watch a furnace man clean the gun on an oil fired boiler? He just uses the #2 oil and it dissolves all the carbon and crust that accumulates on the parts.
