Dont buy a kia

Thats not always true, the more mass, the harder it is to stop. I cant remember which one of Newtons laws that is  The setups these new cars have in terms of steering, braking, and overall suspension are miles ahead of the "technology" of the 80s. Plus you would be much safer with the different airbags and seatbelt advances over the years.

It's called the pit maneuver and the cops use it all the time.

The kia actually has a poor rating for side impacts. As far as mass goes if a heavier car got tapped like the kia did it would not have the same results since the heavier car is harder to move.

thank you. it is not hard to see that if you get tee boned in this car you will die

If you get T-boned in a G-body you'll probably die. Ever seen the pic on here of the parked G-body that got T-boned by a Honda Civic or something?

my aunt got tee boned in a 01 grand prix back in 05 and lived

but im not trying to say a g body is so great or whatever all im saying is when the reaper comes you wanna be as prepared as possible or hes gonna snatch your *ss up for free

Our Gbods usually have no airbags and tougher metal on both body and underpinnings.

Harder metal equals less absorption, which means more force goes straight to the passengers.

The more the metal collapses, the more it absorbs the force of the impact. This is why you see newer cars mangled beyond recognition, yet the driver survives vs. older cars with much less apparent damage but the drivers don't fare as well. This is the risk we take to be pimps or fastcats.

Also, I have heard that if you do not brace for impact, you're less likely to get badly hurt or worse. But I'm no doctor, so I am not positive on whether that is true or not.

I have an 08' kia Sportage 4+4 and it is the most regretful purchase I ever made. Thay are all around the poorest vechicle I have ever owned or been in. They are hard on gas for what they are, no horse power, no space inside them and new it cost me almost $40 grand. I have not had any accident with it but I am told they are pathetic in rollovers. Glad to hear no one was hurt in the accident...Plain and simple Kia's are not suitable for *ss wipe.

I know a couple people with Kias and Hyundais. Their main reasons for buying were the low price and the 10 year warranty. But like the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I've owned my Camry for almost 3 years and have 75K (knock on wood) trouble free miles. I'd rather have a shorter warranty and never have to use it than a 10 year warranty under which I have to get stuff fixed every month.
