The drivers side always seems to take the most wear and tear. Plus the fact that 2-dr cars have longer heavier doors, therefore the extra punishment on your hinges.
Go to the junkyard and find a pair that don't look too bad, re-bush and re-pin them.

had the same prob with mine on my cutty, open either door and they would drop.got new pins and bushing. removed the old pins and installed the new ones,i did have to put tack welds on the bottom of the pin,but my doors work like new,i think it cast about 15.00 for both doors.i wouldn't get any from the bone yard never know what your going to get.

Nothing is heavier than F-body doors. Rebuilding and using moly lube worked for me. Lack of lube is why they wear out in the first place.

4dr G body ones work and they do have alot less wear on them due to the lighter door. I pulled a set a while back and redid them them for my GP and they work fine. The holes on my original ones were to elongated to repair without a welder which i didn't have access to at the time. The front door hinges are the ones you want and buy the spring tool to make it a whole lot easier. I used a air hammer to drive the old pins out and to drive them in.Another thing and just a suggestion is to prep and detail them while they are out..... I redid mine and am not too happy the way they look cuz i didn't do anything to them other the rebuild them. I also scraped some type of sealer off of the old ones and want to reseal them... i hate being picky....

Found some four door wagons at the junkyard. unfortunately the drivers door hinges where gone on both. Will be trying again next week to see what they have. On other news tho I did get some lil parts a was looking for.

Got the hinges I needed. I actually got a full set of hinges meaning all four for twenty bucks. Gonna sell the passenger side ones. They all where in good condition. The driver side need the brass puddings tho.
