The striker itself is turned out of stainless with rolled threads which makes it stronger. The washer is cnc'd billet aluminum. I'm very happy with the looks and quality and will definitely post pics once installed....probably have gray hair by then lol!Glad to see you bit the bullet and went ahead and got them Scott!
They look like really nice trick pieces... now you got me thinking, I may have to upgrade mine in the future too!
😉
Good choice on the color combination (or lack there of) like we had discussed...
One quick question for ya tho: What material are they made from? They look like they're aluminum in the photo, but that would be a poor choice as that would wear very quickly.
I'm really hoping they're actually stainless, as that's a much harder and more durable material to use in that high wear environment.
I know your ride is in paint purgatory, but post up some pics when you get them installed.
🙂

Thanks Jack....I've was contemplating for like a week whether to shell out the money for them or not. However, I needed to order some SEM trim paint and color coat clear to work on some oddball stuff and Summit just happened to have the strikers in stock! Figured what the hell, I don't work my butt off getting in OT for nothing!!!Scott,
The Ring Bros. strikers are super trick. I could understand your OCD....obsessive customizing disorder....now, that's funny. 😀

Thanks Jim, as said I'm pumped with the quality and spec wise they are identical to the oem units. I measured the originals multiple times with a caliper and thread gauge just to be sure. Not sure yet if I will need spacer washers but I can locate those fairly easy. Now if I can just get my damn cutlass painted I can get reassembly going and bolt on the goods! They looks great!
Agreed....I haven't seen many people on here from KY, and I can honestly say that the g body owners locally are nowhere as batshit crazy as I am about the little details!!! There are some nice rides, most of which are lowriders with ridiculous paint jobs that would be near impossible to match if wrecked....the big wheel crowd which I've seen moderate mods, the drag crowd with gutted cars to be as quick as possible, the stockers that are garage kept and pristine, and the total beater G's that look like they are gonna fall apart after a hard bump!!! I'm not biased towards any of them as I enjoy seeing and talking to everybody, but when my cutlass hits the street I want people to crap themselves!!!Those are very nice looking strikers. Those small details really make the car "yours".
