Still wonder if ppl can help me I took the piece of wood out and after 2 parts Tun I got the correct trans mount. Here’s my problem one if the threads are stripped so the bolt that suppose to go in doesn’t fit, also for some really strange reason it doesn’t line up at all that’s what the two pictures are.

What I’m thinking my solution to this is to remove the transmission support cut the piece where the transmission mount mounts to and weld it back? And for the stripped treads I want to get a tap and dye set to hopefully repair them? Would this work any info will definitely be appreciated

Yeah, some real redneck engineering there.

Did someone at some point swap the engine an transmission?

Check to make sure that everything lines up an is fasten correctly before anything else. Verify what transmission it has.

There is no sense it fixing it twice, fix it correctly an be done with it, which means if that isn't the proper crossmember then get one. You can cut an weld anything but will there be vibration, most likely!

If the driveshaft drops out something ain't right.

OP,
Some of these guys aren't as refined as you and I (and the previous owner). Throw out the wire and find yourself a ratchet strap, fill that thing with trans oil and see if it moves - if it does, then please drive it onto a trailer to take home or to the rear of the rollback that it's going to get loaded onto. If not, then you'll need to drag it onto the trailer witha larger ratchet strap.

Dito Bob - there is some mis-alignment somewhere, engine mounts, trans mount, crossover. As far as the stripped bolt hole helicoil it !
