What does that $700 include??? For a completely stock manual trans setup from a G-Body it's too much imo, but that's just me. The crossmember and driveshaft are the same as a TH350 car.

This is true. My 81' Malibu Z-bar broke at the weld. It wasn't designed for a RAM 3200 lb pressure plate. I used an old racer's trick and welded a big washer onto the Z-bar shaft next to the push rod arm, making a huge all-around-the-perimitter reinforcement that is working still.

The weld on the pedal-side peeled back on me a couple years ago... luckily I was only a couple miles from home. Had to start it in gear once, and shifted without the clutch the rest of the way. Good thing I read that Car Craft article! Got it welded and it's been fine ever since.

Yeah. I did that twice, once with a boat trailer out back, when the block ball stud broke. Start in gear and bang-shift all the way home. People looked at me like I was a psycho.

I'm just wondering how you plan to use a carb with an m-90....
m-90 has the inlet on the rear of the blower....
my s/c park ave had a blown 3.8 with an m-90.
