Black!!!!!!!!

You can't "Rat Rod red" the wheels on a car like that!!!!!

I know what you mean about those inner sail panel pieces. They were in the way of the wagon roof structure when I put mine together.
Your ride is looking cool as hell. My personal choice on the wheels would be the Lites w/polished rim and gold/chrome spokes on a black car.

Finished template for upper side of visor & got partially done. Figure on fully enclosing bottom with sheet metal angling from outer edge to slipping into gap between glass & roof so glass trim won't be needed.. Still need to figure out how to attach, don't want any exposed fasteners. Using stock perimeter trim attaching points to help locate part.

Attachment could possibly be just bonded in place OR possibly bolted through from inside with headliner removed, though I can't remember if inner roof structure will allow access to rear upper wall? Doug?

I haven't taken my headliner out to be able to answer that? I would figure even if it's in the way, use an appropriate sized hole saw on the inner structure to reach a 1/4 In. drive socket with a nut to fasten it. At 3:20 am, that's all I can think of right now.

When talking about red centered wheels, I was picturing a darker, more candy looking red. Kinda like my intake butterflies, not some orangish red.
Just as soon as I posted the red wheels pic, I got the 2nd one & I think my heart skipped a beat. A guy in Switzerland on the camaro 6 forums did the wheel swaps for me, so thanks to Chris vr6.
Had a 4 day weekend & was done with all the Christmas schtuff by Sunday morning. So I got my Christmas wish & did what I wanted to do till late Tues night. It's rare that I get enough time off from the day job & other home responsibilities that I can rest & feel good enough to work 12 hours straight on my own stuff before being back to another long at work week. .May only have sunday afternoon this week at best.
Guess I'm happy with visor shape up top, think I will just bond it on when done &epoxied.
Another daytime pic.

FIRST PIC OF THE YEAR.
Started shaping my rear spoiler last night from aluminum. Wife actually gave me permission to be banging & hammering till midnight under the noise of firecrackers. Got a little initial rough shape in half of it before quitting for new years.

Refined my passenger side some more & got the drivers side upper surface decently shaped . In the first pic from this morning , the metal at the center of the 3rd brake light was curling upwards and the portion over the inner brake light wasn't covering bumper. Moved whole assembly backwards & turned outer edge in sharper. Rebent metal at centers. A little more refining & I can tig weld the parts together solid & finish figuring the ends & underside. May just bond to my aluminum cover so I don't have to rewarp the F out of it & ruin all the bodywork on it.

Had to start on the spoiler so I could finish the rear shape of the quarter panel..

Did my first tig weld bead in about 3 years now on aluminum . Ain't perty, but it's stuck together . I think biggest thing was aluminum needed to all be cleaner, especially in the lap joint I made for ease of fabrication. Some spots are wide where I filled screw holes.. But it'll sand down fine. Coulda showed it after sanding, but I'll be brave & post an ugly weld.

Looks good to me. Can't say I even heard of tig welding while I was in bodyshops. Left it for more $$$ in 89.
