No both are not hot....the light wont even turn on when i touch the test light to both fuses...or even when i take out the fuse and test it....it wont turn on the tester light...???

wait what is the the hot spot? is there going to be two fuses that go into the fuse box?

there is only one fuse for the wiper motor...if you remove the fuse and turn on the wiper motor then one side should be hot....if not then your problem is from the fuse box to the switch on the column...if is is hot and you install the fuse and both sides are hot but the motor is not working then your problem is somewhere on that side of the box to the motor

Oh!!!!!! I see what your talking about, ok i havent did that yet...when i get home i will try that and give you an update.. I tested the fuse while it was in the fuse box, but wait i didnt have the ingnition on, is that a problem not haveing the ignition on? but when i tested the other fuses the ignition was off and they turned on, but not the wiper one.

Ok so im going to turn on the ignition and the wiper motor and test one side fuse to see if its hot....Motor is working fine and all connections are intact...

and i think its going to be like you said fuse box to the switch on the column....thanks for all your help i will try that....i just hope i dont need to replace the hole fuse box just to get the wiper motor going...

Did you get 12 volts at the white wire on the wiper motor with ignition on? If so, you are good. If not, the fuse or wiring is bad. The rest of the system works by grounding, so get 12 volts to the motor first. Then we can troubleshoot the switch.

YES SIR....12 volts to the motor and it works great...its brand new so i knew that it should work with out no problems...12 volt and works fine....it hase to be the fuse or a wire...

Just my 2 cents - Could be the ground strap on the wipermotor... It attaches to one of those screws that holds the motor to the frame, and I know from personal experience that if you don't connect it right the motor won't be grounded and won't work at all.

No, we know the motor works, but if there's 12 volts at the white wire on the motor, your fuse and wiring is fine. The white wire comes directly from the wiper fuse and connects to the motor/washer pump at 3 locations. If that wire has power,(and your ground is good) you are good to go and then the wiper switch is suspect.

The picture you showed isnt the actual switch, just the lever. You need the switch that goes inside the steering column. If you dont know how to do it, or dont want to mess with it, you could just buy the part and have a shop install it, shouldnt take more than an hour.
