I thought about doing that but figured they sent the fatter/stronger bolts for a reason. All done and tight tho. Just wish I could have moved the mufflers enough to get the control arm braces on. Trying to move the exhaust took most of my time.
I used grade 8 bolts for my shocks. Most of my inch bolts are grade 8's.

Working on getting all my interior parts together and painted to match the seats. Figure they’ll be quite dry/hardened by spring when I intend to paint the car. Been doing repeated block sanding and repriming. Gonna be black, no such thing as TO STRAIGHT.

Did you buy a choo choo nose or did you use Monte parts?

Love the look of the Corvette hood scoop! I need to cut the hood on my Grand Prix to fit the RPM air-gap + 1" spacer I have on my SBC. As cool as cowl induction hoods are I find them played out as well so I'm looking for alternate ideas for my build.

Looking good, Doug.
It's going to be a unique ride when it's done. Although, it's pretty unique as it is now.

Just got done painting the rest of my interior parts SEM products. I gave them 4 different cleanings before adhesion promoter. GoJo, Dawn, Sem Soap, then 95%Isopropyl alcohol. The first 3 with a nylon brush and 3-M scuff pad. By the time I got to the alcohol, the rag didn’t even get dirty. I found a great little tool thats fantastic. It’s a refillable aerosol sprayer. Use either a tire pump or compressor to put air to it. It came in real handy for spraying the alcohol. I’m gonna buy a few more for WD-40 and Prep-sol
