Engine Mounts for Olds 350

The engine hoist I often rent from my local rental shop comes disassembled on a cart and basically just snaps together. I've hauled it in my Grand Prix, my Dad's truck and a couple of times in my wagon.

Yes that is the same, but I leave the cart behind as it is just more weight and no room. Twice more and the process will be done with any luck at all! Thanks!

It will be a TH350C if it is stock to the car. They take a different 30 spline lock up converter. You need something like a 2000+ stall. My factory TH350C flashes at 1600 rpm, bloody awful.

I don't believe mine currently has a lockup, and it has no external band adjustment, too small for a TH 400. I guess I need to spend a few more hours underneath

Is there a 4 pin plug on the driver's side? If so, you have a TH350C.

I will have to check that...don't recall it, but then wasn't looking for it either. My suspicion has always been the Buick Oil dripper had a TH 250C but was replaced with an older TH 350. I have been wrong before on this weird combo of GM parts. It had to have been a CA car because there is simply no rust and the dash literally looks like a grenade hit it. Brittle plastic every inch!

Anyone who has had a Olds V8 in their G Body, is there a source for the HP exhaust manifolds downpipes ( what the hell is Y or H or a 9 engine?). The Cat is already a thing of the past, and the EMC is no longer attached. No O2 sensors and 442 mufflers are going on. To get it started, and to a muffler shop I am going to need some pipes away from the manifolds. Do I just make them myself?

Problem is the Vin 9 cars used that crumby crossover pipe into a single pipe, into one cat, then a y pipe to dual exhaust. Just beyond pathetic, Olds gained 30 hp with shorty headers, just a Y pipe and ram air on the Darth Vader prototype. Pypes, there have been issues and Ram Air Restorations, look really nice, make down pipes for early A bodies which probably need tweaking on a G body.
