Confused... if it's original paint there IS NO clear coat. These cars came new with lacquer, early repaints urethane enamel. Not a base/clear. If clear is peeling, it's not original paint....

Hey, now my project is moving so slowly I have no doubt you have forgotten by now but this is all original.

Problem is, it is more scattered now than it was in this shot back when I started. But, believe it or not, I am making progress. 👍

Just not likely I will make this deadline. 🙁
