In my own little fantasy world where I think I have a "Bitchin'Buick" Is where my name comes from. Sadly I just have a blown 3.8 Gramma' Engine.

I started it up yesterday just so my fuel lines won't turn to goop. Now along with a serious Knock my girl picked up a serious smoking problem, Big time :rofl:

Should rename myself "82BoatAnchor"

<Mike>

Im mostly about fox body mustangs so I added my name too it and have been using it for everything for a while

"Hy" My car is getting its motor from a '08 Chevy (6.0) trans from (TBD), header panel and tails from a '84-'87 Regal, rear end is a ford 9" etc. etc. So its a hybrid of vehicles.

"82" The car started life as a 1982 Buick Regal.

"e" The plan has always been to keep it as an automatic. hy82e = like 4l80e plus my name is eric
so the "e" is a bit of myself in the mix.

My first beef with it came the first time I had to voice it to someone to find me on another forum sounds strange saying it out loud. I wish I had picked something a little More self explanatory. The second beef is because I'm getting that gear bangin itch, maybe a 6 speed, doh!

I'd go with NotSure. I'm sure more than a few of you know the reference.
Ha Idiocracy awesome movie. My name is obvious....I own an 83 Monte Carlo SS. If I could change my username I would probably go with FuelledByConfusion since its my username for everything else and theres less of a chance of me forgetting it.

ElCamMan515 = El Cam =El Camino, Man = self explainatory, 515 = Lucky Numbers 5 and 15. If I had to chose another one, I'd choose 80/87ElCamino, as my El Camino is a 1987 El Camino with a 1980 grill.

87BlazeLS, Most of this one is a no brainer! The Blaze part of it came from the emblems on the cars doors
That were mocked up from the monte Carlo shield badges removed from the landau top and a pair of chrome 3m adhesive flames and a set of mid 90's chevy Blazer emblems with the R removed and then riveted to the door skin....

works for me ! :wtf:

At one time I worked on several commercial fishing boats. Like many in that life I would come in from a 2 to 3 week trip and get a big check and then try to spend it all before we went out again in 3 or 4 days. Needless to say to spend that kind of money that fast you need the help of a girl or two and it is easy to get into trouble with the law. I was in the county jail after one of these throw-downs and with a trip coming up the Captain of the boat I was working on bailed me out of jail. He took me to the boat and when we got on board, he had me go below to get something or another and when I got down there he locked me in, and I had to stay there for 2 days until we left on the fishing trip. He let me out when we were a couple of hundred miles offshore. When we got back all the guys on the other boats had a good laugh at my expense and started calling me Shanghai. For those of you that don't know, shanghaing (kidnapping) was a method used to recruit sailor on the west coast in the 1800's and was accomplished by drugging or clubbing a man and taking him aboard a ship for forced labor.

I grew up in a home that (mostly) drove Buick's, Oldsmobile's, and Pontiac's. As an adult given the choices, I prefer to drive a Buick, Oldsmobile, or Pontiac if possible....
