F41 and aftermarket bracing diagrams (MORE pics added)

Does anyone have a picture of the lower control arm braces. Seen them here before but would like a picture or pictures of them installed. I have nearly all the braces except for the lca ones. Just need better weather so I can get my trans in and start putting in the braces.

looks to be fender to core support but thats jus a guessor the cowl to fender/coresupport...

if they are the cowl to core support braces,usually one is straight and the other has a bend in the middle. They are pretty much the longest braces made that i have seen and i've only seen them one 78-81 Montes.

Over the years I have put 7 additional braces on my Monte SS,heres pictures;
Homemade rear frame brace

Homemade rear seat brace

Hotchkis rear control arm brace

Rad core X brace from a GP

GP Rad support to inner fender braces

GP Jounce bar,tied into the F41 bars

I also have another homemade brace at the front,I wanted to tie the ends of the frame together,but the air box is in the way

I have my doubts that this one does much,but its made out of aluminum,so its pretty light

Bob,
you definitely deserve kudos for this thread. Besides, it was very well compiled... :wink: and I'm sure had since generated more interest in adding factory bracing to our G-bodies. Thumbs up to you, my man for the longest running thread I can remember.

I picked up a set of cowl to core braces and was wondering if anyone has some good pics of exactly where they mount on the cowl. Reason is I have and "88 without the holes on the cowl.

looks like you have two passenger side braces.. like you said driver side is straight... passenger are bent to fit around air cleaner...
