I was at pick a part this weekend and found some radiator cross braces from an early 80's eldorado that have threaded ends with bushings on them. Seems like a good idea for a custom application to keep things nice and tight.

That is the two factory jounce bars with a bar welded in between them and is not stock on any car.

The gp bar is separate and can be bolted up with the Jounce bars, tying everything together. They can be found on just about any 78-88 gp. Gp will not have jounce bars, but if u connect jounce bars with the gp bar, it ties the front end together well.

Should I put a brace between the rear frame rails? I've heard it can be detrimental to ripping through corners, but from others I've heard that it was the best thing they've installed.

Theres no harm in adding extra braces.I've had a homemade rear frame brace on mine for several years and my Monte rips through corners pretty darn good.

There is a aftermarket company that sells new braces set up like that.
