The fact is you just want to use reputable parts. I been using Transgo kits w/ Transtar overhaul kits. The three biggest improvements you can make to your trans is a shift kit, a wide direct drum bushing, and a 36 element intermediate roller clutch($$) If you don't want to spring for that get a hardened intermediate roller clutch outer race - Transco has them.
