Finally getting around to it

On a lowered car, the coil over spring is going to be very short and the rate is going to have to be pretty high. Maybe with drop spindles AND tall ball joints, coil overs can be pulled off on a lowered, stock suspension, BBC Regal, but regular springs/shocks would probably ride/drive better.

A moog spring in the 650 / 700lb/in range (like a 5660 or 5662) and cut a little off the coils to achieve the desired ride height.

I run a big block with the new style factory covers, spacers and the factory AC setup.

With the spacers they are a hair taller than tall valve covers.

I used all studs except for the cover except for the one closest to the box.

Comes right out and off no issues with a 3/8 or 7/16 universal socket Been a while i forget the size.

Well I've heard both sides of the AC argument then. I guess once I get everything in I will just see if it'll fit or not. No big deal either way. My focus now is just getting it stripped and getting the chassis ready

As far as stance I'm thinking I will just get a 2" drop spring set for the front, I've seen some with spacers where you can do either 1" or 2". The car I posted earlier in the thread looks to have a 2" drop and 1" in the front. Also I was wanted to ask if I should just get like a 90/10 shock for the front or spend the money on QA1 adjustables?

Oh nice a Spuds Mackenzie puppy!
