Hang these up in your neighborhood to find the owner:

Hilarious! Reminds me of the commercial where the lady doesn't have her glasses on and is calling in the cat and instead it's a Racoon coming in.

Don't Olds & Pontiac motors have starters on the drivers side? Batterys are usally mounted battery side.

Really? And it also makes sense now why both Olds and Pontiac are no more.

A steering shaft and clutch linkage is hard enough to package with 2" headers without a starter in there. Next time someone says "why don't you have a Pontiac motor in there" I'm going to tell them "because they're stupid".

lol no it didn't hiss at me. The thing made a nest in like 3 days. I noticed a bunch of leaves and pine needles on the back part of the hood by the windshield but we've had some storms here so I didn't think much of it. Raised the hood and there she sat. It was terrified, made no noise. Didn't move, just stared at me. I snapped a pic and just stood there for a minute trying to decide what to do and it was just sitting there shaking, scared to death. Then I noticed it was laying on top of two babies, couldn't be more than a few days old. So I just gently let the hood back down. Gonna give 'em a few days and then try and relocate them. I live in the country, so possums are a frequent encounter. They get a bad reputation, every encounter I've ever had with one they just seem to be really chill animals. Never had one show any aggression. I climbed a tower stand to hunt one day and there was one asleep in there and I woke it up, he just sat there and looked at me then climbed out and went about his business.

On the battery topic yes that is where it sat from the factory. No modification has been done to this car whatsoever. My mom drove it for 10 years or so then my dad started driving it to work and the crap 307 spun a bearing and it's been sitting ever since. Only reason they kept it is because I've always wanted to build it.

Now it's a possum hotel.
